General description

A real “mixed bag” venue – Carp, Chub, Rudd, Roach, Perch, Tench, Skimmers, Ide, Crucians… the sort of venue that when the float buries you have no idea what’s on the end!!

A really popular pond, and one that seems to improve year on year.

The Crucians, Ide, Chub and Tench that we stocked back in 2019/2020 are all not only growing well, but having babies also! (they must be happy).

The carp (up to 10lb) prove cracking sport on their day, surface fishing or shallow tactics proving really successful in the warmer months.

Some of the small Rudd, of which there were millions(!!!) were thinned out winter of 2020 and this seems to have proved massively beneficial to the bigger fish that were left behind due to there being more space, food, and oxygen available as a result.

Aerator/Bubbler installed winter 2020, again improving fish welfare and dissolved oxygen levels.

Bigger baits (hard pellets, corn, big cubes of meat) will usually deter some of the smaller silvers if it’s the carp and Ide that you are after.
